NHS APPRepeat Prescriptions

Routine repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:

  • Online - A brand-new online Prescribing Ordering Direct (POD) webform has been launched for our practice. In addition to the current phone service provided by the POD team, an online prescription ordering webform is available so patients can order their repeat prescriptions quickly and easily online, with just a few clicks of a button.

This webform can be accessed 24 hours a day with a smartphone, tablet, or personal computer at the following link: Prescription Ordering Direct Service Request Webform

  • In person - hand your repeat slip in at reception having clearly marked the items required.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Urgent Prescriptions

Requests for urgent prescriptions may be made by telephoning the surgery on 0300 79800 169 and will be ready to collect by 18:00 the same day.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
